Skunk'd Remedy

Did your pet have a run in with a skunk? Unfortunately this is a very common occurrence in our area.

Though it may take a couple baths to completely get the smell out, 

the below recipe is very successful in removing that nasty odor.

 1 quart Hydrogen Peroxide
1/4 cup to 1/2 a box Baking Soda
1-2 teaspoons Dawn™ Dishwashing Liquid

Mix all ingredients thoroughly then wash pet with solution.

Note: Remedy is most effective if performed within 1 hour of "skunking".
